I was born in Massachusetts in 1948, where I lived in various small towns with my large family. In the '70s I met and married my husband, moved West, had two sons, and became a licensed practical nurse.
The '80s included getting my first driver's license, employment at our local hospital, writing poetry I kept largely to myself, and starting college to obtain my bachelor's degree in nursing. During the '90s I graduated with a BSN, earned a black belt in Kung Fu San Soo, and began work in my hospital's neonatal intensive care unit.
Today two daughter-in-laws and three grandchildren have been added to my Colorado family. I am still working in the NICU and pursuing my writing passions with all my heart and soul.
